01

First, A Conversation

We begin by listening. We’ll talk about the look you envision and the placement you have in mind. Our piercers will guide you through our collection of 14k gold flatback jewelry and may offer suggestions based on your unique ear anatomy to ensure a beautiful, lasting result. If you're curious about the creative process, our guide on how to choose the right piercing for your ear shape offers a deeper look

02

Marking for Precision

Before anything else, we disinfect the area. Then, your piercer will mark the exact spot for your piercing. This is your moment—we’ll adjust until the placement feels perfectly, uniquely yours.

03

The Moment of Care

You’ll be guided to take a slow breath. As you exhale, the needle passes through—often described as a quick pinch. The jewelry is then gently placed. The entire moment is over in seconds, handled with a steady, practiced focus.

A Little Prep Goes a Long Way

A few simple steps can help your body feel its best in preparation for the appointment.

Nourish yourself
Enjoy a solid meal about 1-2 hours before you come in. This helps you feel steady and grounded.

Stay hydrated
Drink water throughout the day. Well-hydrated skin makes the process smoother.

Keep it calm
We suggest avoiding caffeine or alcohol beforehand, as they can make you feel jittery or increase sensitivity.

Be Comfortable

Wear something comfortable that allows easy access to your ears.

Bring Support
Feel free to bring a friend for support—they’re welcome to sit with you or in our waiting area.

Keep the Hair Away
We have hair ties on hand to keep your hair comfortably away from your ears.
